Prevention of Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19)

With the continued media coverage regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our state, we
have been fielding phone calls from our tenants with questions about how they can stay safe in their
homes. Our goal is to provide safe environments for all of our residents and staff. Information continues
to change frequently, however the Whatcom County Health Department and the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC) are frequently updating their websites as things evolve. To help educate
our residents on steps you can take to decrease the spread of COVID-19 we have compiled the below list
of resources.

Prevention starts with practicing good personal health habits, such as:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
  • Stay at home and away from others if you are sick.

Also, attached is a flyer from the CDC on workplace, school and home guidance; from the Whatcom
County Health Department a flyer regarding Concerns about COVID-19.

By following prevention guidelines, not only do individuals reduce their risk of disease, they also lighten the load on the health care system and slow the spread of disease. In addition to these preventative steps, Windermere Management also encourages all of our tenants to use their online tenant portal to pay their rent, communicate with our office and to submit non-emergency maintenance requests. We will continue to keep normal business hours Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm and will update residents if there are any changes to our business hours.

Thank you,
Windermere Management
